Getting started

What is this portal?

This is the platform of the Johor caravan community. Members find and book campsites and caravan or campervan rentals, follow their trips and read the association's news and guides. Hosts list their campsites and vehicles here.

How do I join?

Create an account with your name and e-mail address. Individuals and companies can join as Adventurers. Every new registration is checked by the committee before the account opens: you can sign in straight away to see the status, and you will get an e-mail when it is decided.

Why is my registration waiting?

The committee checks every new registration. Until it is approved you only see a waiting page where you can correct your details. You will get an e-mail when the decision is made; if more information is needed, the page tells you what to add and you can send it again.

Can I use the portal in my own language?

Yes. Use the language menu at the top of any page to switch between English, Bahasa Malaysia and Simplified Chinese. The portal remembers your choice, and the e-mails you receive follow the language in your profile.

Was this useful?
Can I install the portal as an app on my phone?

Yes. Open the portal in your phone's browser and choose "Add to Home screen" (or "Install app"). It then opens like an app, and the trips you have opened stay available without signal. No app store is needed.

Membership and account

What kinds of membership are there?

There are three: Adventurer (for caravan and camping enthusiasts, individuals or companies), Operator (for caravan and campervan operators) and Campsite operator (for campsite owners). Operators and campsite operators must be legally registered businesses under SSM.

Who can become an operator or campsite operator?

Caravan and camper vehicle operators and campsite operators must be legally registered companies under SSM: a sole proprietorship, partnership, LLP, Sdn. Bhd., Berhad or listed company. You enter the registration number and upload the certificate when you apply, and the committee verifies it.

How much does membership cost and how long does it last?

The annual fee depends on the membership type and is shown on the Membership page when you renew. A new membership runs for 12 months, and you get a reminder e-mail 30 days before it ends.

How do I renew my membership?

Open Renewal in your member area; renewing opens 60 days before your membership ends. You get payment instructions with a reference number. After you pay, the committee confirms the payment and your membership is extended.

What is the membership card and its QR code?

Your digital membership card shows your member number and how long it is valid. Its QR code lets anyone check that the card is genuine and current; they only see a short name, your membership type and the expiry date.

How do I become a host and list a campsite or vehicle?

Apply from the Upgrade page in your member area: choose Operator or Campsite operator, enter your SSM details and upload the certificate. After the committee approves you, a Host menu appears where you create listings. Each listing is reviewed before guests can see it.

How do I reset my password or turn on two-factor authentication?

Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in page to get a reset link by e-mail. For better protection turn on two-factor authentication from your profile menu under Security (2FA): scan the QR code with an authenticator app and keep the recovery codes safe. Committee members and administrators must use it.

Booking a stay

How do I book a campsite or a caravan rental?

Sign in, open the listing, choose your dates and number of guests and press Book (or Request). You see the full price before you confirm. After booking, your booking page shows the status, the payment details and your trip guide.

What is the difference between instant booking and a booking request?

With instant booking your stay is confirmed straight away. With a booking request the host has to approve it first, usually within three days; the host may keep the dates for you meanwhile. A request that nobody answers lapses and the dates become free again.

Was this useful?
How is the price calculated?

The price is the nightly rate for each night (some listings have a higher weekend rate) plus the cleaning fee if there is one, multiplied by the number of units. The total is shown before you confirm and does not change afterwards. Rentals may also have a security deposit and a kilometre allowance, shown on the listing.

How do I pay for a booking?

Payment is made directly to the host by bank transfer or cash, using the booking reference. Your booking page shows the amount and the reference. When the host has received the money they mark the booking as paid and you see "Payment received". The access details for your stay appear once it is paid.

Was this useful?
Can I cancel a booking, and what about my money?

You can cancel from the booking page until the day of arrival, as long as the stay has not started. Cancelling frees the dates. Any money already paid is settled directly with the host, so please contact the host about a refund.

How do I find a campsite or vehicle that is free on my dates?

Use the search on the Campgrounds or Rentals page: enter your dates and number of guests and the list shows only what is free. You can also filter by place, type, price and facilities, and the calendar on each listing shows the free and full days.

Browse campsites Was this useful?
What are the check-in and check-out times?

Each listing shows its own times. If the host has set none, campsites use check-in from 14:00 and check-out by 12:00, and vehicles are picked up and returned at 10:00. A late check-out or late return may carry a late fee, which is shown on the listing.

During your trip

When do I get the access code and directions?

Two days before your trip, once the booking is paid, your trip guide shows the host's arrival details (gate code, directions, Wi-Fi). Directions to the pin on the map and a calendar file are available as soon as the booking is confirmed.

How do I check in at a campsite?

On the day of arrival open your trip guide from My bookings and tap Check in: share your location if you like, tick the short checklist and take a photo of your pitch. Before that, fill in the arrival details and sign the house rules so the host is prepared. You can also show your QR code to the host.

How do a vehicle pick-up and return work?

Before pick-up you send your driver's licence details and sign the rental agreement in your trip guide. At pick-up the owner checks your licence, walks round the vehicle with you, takes photos, notes the odometer and the fuel, gas and water levels, and you both sign. At return the same is done again; extra kilometres, a late return and any deposit deduction are agreed and recorded, and you confirm or question the record.

Why does the portal ask for my camera and location?

The camera is used only to take photos of your pitch or the vehicle and to scan QR codes; the location only shows the host that you arrived and how far you were from the pin. Both are optional and asked only when you tap the button. Photos and location are visible only to you, the host and the committee.

What if something goes wrong during my stay?

Open your trip guide and use Report a problem: choose the type, describe it and add a photo; your location is added if you allow it. The host is told by e-mail. You can report problems during the stay and for seven days after it. If you and the host cannot agree, write in the Messages of the trip and the committee can help.

What if there is no mobile signal at the campsite?

Open your trip guide once while you have signal: the directions, arrival details and QR code are saved on your phone and can be opened offline from the offline page. What you type in the check-in form is saved on the phone until you can send it.

For hosts

How do I create and publish a listing?

In the Host menu choose New campsite or New vehicle, then enter the place, price, capacity, photos, rules, check-in times and the arrival details guests see before they come, in as many languages as you can. Submit it for review; once the committee approves it, guests can find and book it.

How do I handle booking requests and payments as a host?

New requests appear under Bookings in the Host menu. Approve or decline within the time shown; the guest is told by e-mail. When the money arrives, mark the booking as paid. You can cancel a confirmed booking with a reason until the trip starts.

What is the Today screen for hosts?

Today shows who arrives, who is staying, who leaves and what is coming this week, plus open problems. Find a booking by typing or scanning its code, then check guests in and out or hand over and take back vehicles step by step on your phone.

Open Today Was this useful?
Can I set a deposit, kilometre allowance and late fee for my rentals?

Yes. In the listing's check-in and check-out section you set the pick-up and return times and a late fee per hour and, for vehicles, the security deposit, the kilometres included per day and the price of each extra kilometre. Guests see these terms before booking, and a booking keeps the terms it was made with.

Contact, privacy and disagreements

How do I contact the committee?

Use the Association page in the top menu, which lists the committee, or the contact details at the bottom of any page. For a question about a booking, use the Messages of the trip or contact the host directly.

Association page Was this useful?
How is my personal data handled, and can I delete my account?

The privacy page explains what is kept and why. From your profile you can download a copy of your data and delete your account; that needs your password and is not possible while you have upcoming bookings or live listings. Questions you type in this chat are kept for 90 days without your name or network address.

Privacy page Was this useful?
I do not agree with the check-in or return record. What can I do?

Open the record in your trip guide and choose "Something is not right" with a short comment; the other side is told by e-mail. Both of you can then reply in the Messages of the trip. If you cannot settle it, the committee can read the whole trip and close the matter with a decision that both sides receive.
